Electoral Calculus say Lib Dem to win in Filton & Bradley Stoke

8.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 26th Apr 2010

Electoral Calculus is predicting that Filton & Bradley Stoke will see a 10% swing to the Liberal Democrats making this constituency a LiBDem Gain.

Electoral Calculus tries to help understand the General Election system by translating the support levels for each party into actual seats. It improves on the crude uniform national swing assumption, by applying a different swing in each region. The regional swing information comes from large-scale polling by YouGov and others during the campaign.

This prediction is obviously based on current polling. The Liberal Democrats are hoping to do even better in Filton & Bradley Stoke on election day !!
