Tory councillor joins the Lib Dems

Cllr Sarah Turley joins the Lib Dem Team with Steve Webb MP, Cllr Ruth Davis and the Focus Team

A former Conservative Councillor has left their party and join the Lib Dems. She tells a story very familiar to local Lib Dems of the South Glos Tory Leadership being out of touch. She was told not to speak up for her community on an issue of importance to her. Knowing that the Lib Dems want their Cllrs to speak up for their communities, she joined us.
