On May 6th 2010 people across the country went out to vote and decided that they wanted a change of Government. However, it wasn't a straight forward swap from Labour to Conservative as in previous elections, this time no one party had an overall majority and history was in the making.

Celebrity adds weight to Lib Dem F&BS campaign

5 times World Women's boxing Champion Jane Couch MBE added her weight to the local Lib Dem campaign. The Lib Dem candidate Peter Tyzack who is fighting for new constituency Filton and Bradley Stoke stands the best chance of blocking the Tories according to both the bookies Labrokes and the polls including the electoral calculus seat calculation site.
